About four years ago, I got involved in a project that I had little knowledge would work its way into such vital importance. With so many green issues coming into the news these days, it’s hard to keep up with everything. With this, I had an opportunity to give back to the community and help out a worthy cause—ocean conservation.
A few months ago, I got a call from a rather large agency to create a character for some upcoming ad & POS materials. Their client was a chain of restaurants that had plans to introduce shrimp into their menu, where they had traditionally had other regular fare. After some standard negotiations, we were up and rolling.
Just recently, I got the opportunity to work on something that seems pretty insignificant, but turned out to be really fun.
Some of you logo design fans have probably already scoped out the new Logo Lounge 4 (Rockport Publishers). This is the latest in the Logo Lounge series of design books—and I might add, every one of them is excellent. The level of work is superior and the logo design is nothing short of inspirational.
